The Zoom Browser software will provide the software to control cameras that are capable of Remote Shooting. You have to check the Specifications section of the camera's User Guide to see if Remote Shooting is listed. If it is listed, then the camera and software will allow you to control the camera while connected to the PC.You can download and view the User Guide for any Powershot camera on Canon's website. Select a camera model, then click on that camera's Downloads & Drivers tab, then click on the PDF link for the camera's User Guide.

The PDF will download and open for your viewing. You might want to Save it to your Desktop for convenience. Look in the Specifications section in the back for the Remote Shooting capability. It will look like this, taken from my G9 guide, listed between Self Timer and Recording Media.

Memory
