I actually agree with you that it was a justified deleting, but I have mixed feelings about current copyright laws in general. I bought this guide back in the day, and there's no current system for buying it again that benefits the original copyright holders so I feel justified in owning in digitally even if it is a little shady. If there was a reasonable, e-book style Nintendo thing, I'd probably be all over it.
